Meta introduced new tools for its creators to earn more money on the platform and its gradually being expanded to more countries.
During creators week 2022 Meta announced new creators tool that will work for both Facebook and Instagram creators, giving them new ways to make money on the platform.
In this article I will list major features that was introduced by Meta and all of these features works in the US while other selected countries can also use them, this means if your in Nigeria like me you can’t use most of these features.
New Creators Features
1. Digital Collectibles: Instagram creators will soon be able to create their own digital Collectibles and sell them to fans, Digital Collectibles are also known and NFT which can easily be sold through the use of blockchain technology.
2. Subscription based: Instagram subscription is already in use by US based creators, these allows the creator to set a specific amount that their followers will have to pay to have access to some contents, and those contents are going to be exclusively to subscribers alone.
3. Facebook stars and Instagram Gifts: Stars can be purchased and sent to creators on both platforms, previously the feature was only available on facebook but is now being expanded to Instagram
